Under the auspices of His Excellency Dr Ali Bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Oman, we are organizing a Masterclass Workshop “BlockChain Oman 2018” on 19th, 20th & 21st March 2018 at Sheraton Oman Hotel.
The BlockChain Symposium successfully conducted from 6th to 9th November 2017 by the Government of Oman, has created the right foundation for the introduction of BlockChain technology to Oman. As Oman is positioning itself to leverage this revolutionary technology in the near future, BPOS Global wishes to be an active contributor to this process of evolution and help facilitate the adoption of BlockChain in all relevant business sectors in Oman.
BlockChain Oman 2018 will be the logical “next step” to the November Symposium as it will build upon the Symposium’s success which has set the right tone and environment and opened Oman to the technology which is ushering the world into a new business landscape altogether.
Our inaugural event will focus on all the relevant industries and private businesses, which are experiencing BlockChain disruption in their business processes worldwide. BlockChain Oman 2018 will bring the opportunity to learn and understand the potential benefits, new processes and preparation they may have to undertake to adopt BlockChain technology.
Our workshop will also invite the global BlockChain technology service providers to interact with local businesses and accelerate early adoption.
The event will discuss the structural changes required to adopt BlockChain technology, as this technology would need not only integration or overhaul but also a culture of new learning, skill up-gradation and innovation to support it.
The event will be the right mix of knowledge sharing, practical learning, brainstorming sessions and real-life case studies to develop a sustained dialogue between the right stakeholders.
This event will focus on the theme of learning to implement, which will discuss all the pertinent aspects involved in implementing BlockChain technology into relevant business sectors with emphasis on regulations, privacy, security, new business models, new products and new skills and job roles.
